"Anyone can climb, no matter how old you are or what physical condition you are in. It can be as easy as stepping up a ladder, or as hard as hanging upside down by your finger. I have a membership at a local rock climbing gym. When people want to check out what rock climbing's like, I bring groups of up to four people from work to the gym for free. Thursday night is our regular group gym climbing night. Then outdoor climbing is the logical next step for anyone who has learned the basics of climbing techniques and safety, and is interested in trying it out in a natural setting outside the gym. We go on outdoor top roping trips in the summer. The Pacific Northwest is paradise for rock climbing aficionados. There are endless rock climbing options in this area, offering various levels of difficulty, but all with great pay-offs: the views around here are breathtaking."
