The Biology group at Rosetta Inpharmatics is dedicated to developing and using cutting-edge technologies for drug discovery. The main focus of the group’s research is to utilize and advance RNA interference (RNAi) for understanding cancer pathways. Toward that goal, Rosetta Biology is linking RNAi with high-throughput and genome-scale screening as well as microarray gene expression profiling to identify, validate and characterize novel oncology drug targets. The group also strives to optimize approaches for vector-mediated RNAi especially lentiviral and inducible systems. These programs offer exciting opportunities for creative and driven scientists to pioneer development of the next generation of pharmaceutical products.
